Chelisa “CheChe” Boyce born in St. Louis, MO and raised just outside in small town Festus, MO with family ties to Memphis, TN. Chef Boyce has been cooking professionally for the last 10 plus years and has obtained many accolades along the way since graduating culinary school from L’ecole Culinaire. She holds ACF membership. Chef Boyce made company history for American Cruise Lines in 2019 by becoming the First and Youngest African American Executive Chef, later going on to become the First Executive Chef Trainer (renamed Sr. Executive Chef). Chef is the Owner and Chef of JusChe Foods LLC Private Chef and Catering company servicing events throughout the mid-south and DMV area. During the 2020 pandemic she and her late business partner Justin “Bigg Baby” Freeman would go on to open a carry out in Athens, AL prior to moving to full private services. Although versed in worldly cuisines, Chef enjoys taking classics and fusing with a modern twist. Cajun/Creole, Asian, Southern cooking to Classic French are just a few areas you’re sure to experience throughout her culinary food experience. With a love for hand crafting edible art displays one of one. It is her passion and mission to give back to her community and shed light on new avenues for those coming behind to have a healthy creative outlet to redirect and enjoy life.
Myasia Smith Bronx native faced with dietary/ allergy challenges opened her eyes to different avenues of meal preparations. She has been associated with the culinary industry for 6 plus years and brings a FOH aspect to the team with her most recent role as restaurant manager within fine dining outlets for a cruise line. In her personal time and diet she brings a fresh clean eating approach with vegan/ vegetarian options and infused waters.
My name is Sahmeer Hoggard aka Rebel Chef bka Chef Sah and I was born and raised in Newark, NJ. I am a Certified Executive Chef, I’ve been cooking professionally for the last eleven years but my passion for food started as a child preparing meals with my grandmother. I enjoy combining traditional and modern cooking techniques to create unique flavors and visually appealing dishes.
My name is Michelle Brown, I'm 54 years old and I live in Washington, DC. I'm a QIDP Manager by trade but home cooking is my love language.
Growing up I've always watched my parents and grandparents cook si I was no stranger to the kitchen. What propelled me to cook with love was when I became a single mother of three. During those times I was always faced with difficult life choices. Such as paying the electric bill or taking my kids out to McDonald's because everyone else had "McDonald's Money". I knew I didn't have it but I did have food stamps which was a means to always have groceries. So I decided to turn my misfortune into a teachable moment for me and my children! I decided to make everything they loved to eat at home where it tasted better and they had seconds available if they wanted! To teach them to cook we would have Iron Chef Ramen Noodle Cook Off's! This taught them to have the ability to make a great tasting and filling meal using what you already have at home(Survival).💖
